My site

My intention for the site now is to incorporate an area for comments with each video in the site, so people can dispute and agree with the view expressed in each clip.

Done all the editing

But all aren't compressed properly, I'll take it to class to do it.
I've just signed up to blip.tv to upload my clips, it's so much faster than youtube.

Problems with Quicktime

When I try to use the settings to export my clip or compress it it just close down.
Why does this have to happen to me!!!

Problems with Premier

I dont know what happened, but when I was editing one of the interviews the premier keeps crashing and continues to crash if I want to cut up clips.
For some reason it only happen with that project.

I guess I'll move on and have to forget about this one

Ideas for the site

• Bad player stats like red cards etc (I'm still trying to figure out how to get people to upload the right stat.)

I've been having some problems with silverstripe.
It has been crashing when I try to add things to my site.

Project 2

My concept for the site is to have a site where people submit a picture of their most hated football player (or other sports) and have a general vote on who is hated most. But instead of a simple tally it could have the pictures being egged or something in that sense.

Morgan suggested adding extra information on conflict which could be linked to them in a different way, like conflict between their country or could just be another competition.

Decided

So I've made the decision to edit my film with the soundtrack as the base.
The final outcome will have an upbeat kind of theme.
Because the footage, to me, seems pretty dark I am going to contrast that with the color of the final movie and the music.

New Tracks New Ideas

I've found a soundtrack which I am going to use, from a site which was linked from the stray cinema website.
My original aim was to find a track which is a bit dark, but have taken a liking for this trippy, more upbeat track. So I might have to reconsider my idea for a dark theme to something that will work with the track.

Stray Cinema Project

I've looked through all the footage, and the first five clips seems to have a dark eerie feel to it (even the clip with the kid). So I', probably going to go along that line.
I'm doing most (if not all) my editing at home on Adobe Premiere.
I am still looking for the music, but aiming for an instrumental track, but could have a little vocal.

Remix and Remixability

I find this article very interesting, and like the idea of making the internet more organized and easier to find the information you are looking for. Although I disagree with the idea of making the web purely ASCII because I personally like the interface like Flash.

I believe that one day someone will write a software where internet objects that are "locked together" could be analyzed and could still be found easily.
